Dawson went to Miss Bonnie's house today for the first real time. Bonnie is her new babysitter and has 3 other children she watches on a daily basis. She is so sweet and loves children. She has 4 adopted children of her own...just a coincidence! I packed my car last night, except for the milk so I could save myself time this morning. Our day started out by me waking her up at 7:00 and she was at Bonnie's by 7:40. I'm not sure she liked the early wake up call after our entire summer of her sleeping in until 9:00! When we got there, Dawson sat down and had her breakfast. As I left, she came to the window and waved good bye! Dawson loves other children and dogs so Bonnie's is the perfect place for her! I'm anxious to see what time bed time will be tonight...she's tired from playing so much! The picture below is breakfast at Bonnie's this morning!

We spent the weekend in Cincy at Kennedy's soccer tournament. Dawson loved to sit in her stroller and watch all the happenings around her. At half time, Tommy would kick around her new soccer ball grammy sent with us on the trip! Her coordination isn't too bad! Look at those moves!!! After Sunday's game, we headed off to meet our cousins for a day at Kings Island. There's not much to do for Dawson's age so she just took a nap, enjoyed people watching, hung with Tommy and played with the stuffed animals the kids won! She enjoyed her day!

Last weekend, we went to a class at the Akron Zoo called "Something Fishy." It was a little class for children under 4 and taught us all about what animals eat fish. Dawson and I went with our new friends Lynn and Grace. Lynn's daughter Grace is also from Guatemala and is about a month older than Dawson. We have been trying to get the girls together once in awhile. Lately, I ahve noticed that they are finally starting to recognize each other. It's been fun watching them both grow up! During class, neither one was listening to the teacher....imagine that...both of us are educators! We are going to have to work on that one! Notice Ella in the carseat! Whenever Dawson goes to grammy's house, Ella immediately takes over Dawson's seat. She thinks it's comfortable and it gives her a great view out the window!

Yesterday we went to the park and I took a few pictures to experiment with this new picture program. It lets you enter your pictures and create collages of all kinds. I think this is a pretty cool program. You can download it for free at http://www.picasa.com/. What a great way to show all kinds of happenings at once!

We have really been enjoying the last days of summer. Dawson, Tommy, Ella and I have been to the pool, to a parade and eating ice cream these past few days. All of us have really enjoyed the summer and hate to see it come to an end. Enjoy our fun pictures!
